Designs on Life Coaching Method
Based on the philosophy “each person knows what is best
for him or her”, personal coach, Julie Bentley’s coaching is described
as future focused. By emphasizing self-awareness leading to self-development,
her coaching sessions examine ways of closing the gap between where
clients are and where they want to be.
Several underlying themes make up the core of Julie’s coaching method:
clarification of a client’s wants, needs and direction; re-contextualizing
the client’s “limiting beliefs”; and planning ways to overcome the
roadblocks to reaching the client’s life goals.
Julie gently guides her clients, creating a safe environment for them
to learn about themselves. The coaching sessions are warm and supportive
enabling clients to experiment with solutions and to say whatever
they need to say, without fear of being put down, made to feel wrong
or in other ways criticized. About coaching, Julie says, “Self awareness
